St Andrews Night Celebration 28th November 2025
This year's St Andrew's night celebration was held in the Vale of Leven Bowling Club Function Hall on Friday 28th November.

A great time was had by all and all the artistes were very well received. Feedback on the evening has been very positive. Numbers attending were similar to last year. While this allows more relaxed seating arrangements it would be nice to see more of you attending. The date for next year is Friday 27th November. Get that date in your diary!

Toast to Scotland - Simon Stewart
Simon Stewart was a ne face doing the Toast to Scotland this year. Simon did a great job with his original and entertaining toast.
Toast to Oor Toon - Bob McKinnon
We had another new face proposing the Toast "Oor Toon", retired lawyer and local man, Bob McKinnon. Bob had researched his subject well, revealing some facts about the Vale that few of us knew. Another great toast.
Blair Allan - Sangs and Clatter
Club member Blair Allan provided the "clatter" for the evening. Blair is always entertaining and popular with the company. Tonight was no different.
Jack Cassidy - Music and Song
Jack Cassidy sang and played guitar for us once again, having appeared last year for the first time, Once again Jack performed an excellent set. We look forward to seing him at our Burns supper in the future.
Donald Nelson - Story Telling
Donald Nelson joined the club a couple of years ago. Donald came with a reputation as a Story Teller and we asked him to entertain us at this event. Donald's story held the audience spellbound throughout. The final punchline had everyone in tears of laughter. We will look forward to seeing more of Donald in future.
